General information
We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act) and this privacy policy.
You can use this website without actively providing personal data. Where personal data (such as your name or email address) is collected, this happens on a voluntary basis – for example via our contact form.
Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, the server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL.
This processing serves to ensure reliable operation and to improve and secure our website. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). This data is not combined with other data sources.
Hosting provider: [name and address of the hosting provider, including a note on the data processing agreement where applicable – to be completed by the operator]
Contact form
If you send us an inquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide (first name, last name, email address, company where given, and your message) to handle your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).
Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to process your inquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Spam protection
To protect the contact form against automated submissions, we use a self-hosted security question (a simple arithmetic task). No data is transmitted to third parties, no cookies are set, and no user behavior is analyzed.
Your rights
Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right to access your stored personal data (Article 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), and data portability (Article 20 GDPR).
You may object to processing based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), for example with the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
Version of this privacy policy
